These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Patron Athletics ("Service"). By creating an account or using the mobile app, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Patron Athletics provides athletic department management tools for high schools, including schedules, rosters, scoring, volunteer coordination, and announcements, and a companion mobile app for coaches, parents, and players to receive team communications.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Athletic directors are responsible for the accuracy of school, team, and roster data they enter.

Pricing and Fees

The Patron Athletics platform is free for schools to use. We earn revenue through a platform fee on funds raised with our optional fundraising tools — currently 8% plus $0.30 per donation — which a donor may choose to cover so your team keeps 100% of the gift. Payments are processed by Stripe. We may offer optional paid plans in the future; any such charges will be disclosed before purchase. Fees already collected are non-refundable except where required by law.

SMS / Text Message Notifications

Patron Athletics Mobile, a service operated by CIEF, LLC sends automated text messages related to your school's athletics program using numbers registered under the Twilio A2P 10DLC framework. The permitted message categories are game schedule confirmations, score updates, practice time changes, volunteer shift reminders, team announcements, and important program alerts.

• Opt-in: Initial enrollment begins only by explicitly checking the optional, unchecked consent checkbox on the public Patron Athletics Mobile SMS sign-up page or in the signed-in Notification settings. Text alerts are voluntary: you can use Patron Athletics, accept a team invitation, volunteer, create an account, and save other notification preferences without providing a phone number or agreeing to receive texts. Team invitations, volunteer registration, account creation, and general profile edits never collect or create SMS consent.
• Message frequency: Up to 10 messages per month depending on your school's activity level.
• Message and data rates may apply. Contact your mobile carrier for details.
• To opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further SMS will be sent to that number. You can also manage notification preferences in the Patron Athletics app.
• For help: Reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@patronathletics.com.
• No mobile opt-in data or consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable Use

• No unlawful, abusive, or harassing content.
• No attempts to disrupt the Service or access data you are not authorized to view.
• No use of the Service to send unsolicited messages.

Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Patron Athletics a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email.
